I am all for the ban on Facebook. But is Pakistani government now going to use this incident as a ruse to censor and monitor internet usage?

The attempt to offend muslims across the world has been a huge success, far as Facebook is concerned. But it has given the Pakistani authorities the perfect excuse to monitor internet websites, like UAE and China, and simply control the flow of information to its citizens.
So will Google be the next site to be blocked?

Do these motherfuckers in PTA think from their asses?! YES! It looks exactly like that. Why not block the whole internet and ban the usage of computers and even shut down the IT department in the country. Assholes!

I think this ban will be quietly lifted in a couple of weeks. As far as monitoring/censoring internet content other than intended by this move, it will not stand with the hyper-sensitive Pakistani media.
